Construction Management Spectrum’s Construction Management is a professional service that applies effective management techniques to the planning, design, and construction of a project from inception to completion for the purpose of controlling time, cost and quality. As your Construction Manager (CM) we provide the Owner with specialized knowledge, experience and resources to navigate through the complexities of a construction project. Services may be tailored to satisfy needs as they relates to each individual project. We do this by providing preconstruction expertise including cost estimating, value engineering, and scheduling, as well as coordination of all construction activities during the construction project. General Contracting Spectrum’s General Contracting (GC) capabilities affords our firm the opportunity to bid a variety of project sizes. On smaller projects we are able to provide manpower with our own forces or subcontract various specialties to other trades such as electrical, heating, and plumbing, on larger work. Either way, we are responsible to the owner for successful completion of the work in a timely manner. Our proven approach allows us the opportunity to work closely with the design team during construction to bring project in on time and on budget.
Design / Build Design-Build (D-B) is a project delivery method in which Spectrum & owner hold a single contract with a single entity for both the design and construction of a project. It is commonly referred to as a “One Stop Shop” Design-Build is owner-driven, and it commonly reduces project delivery time by eliminating lengthy bidding proceedings. This process is achieved through a dynamic relationship with Avid Designs, Inc. Avid Designs is led by Jeffrey Geary, RA. His attention to detail and commitment to our clients vision enable us to better understand their needs & design intent. This synergy of disciplines affords us the opportunity to maximize the (3) most vital components of all projects: Time, Budget, & Customer Satisfaction.
Consulting Spectrum’s Consulting service provides a forum for Owners to ask questions regarding any phase of the construction project. These question may vary from “How do we get started” to “How do we attain a Certificate of Occupancy”. Throughout the consulting process, we will continually recommend solutions that address any particular need you may have. During this phase it allows the clients to better understand the process that brings a project from conception to completion.
